Serving Students in K-8th Grade
The purpose of Honor Roll is to recognize and honor students who have attained outstanding academic success and to inspire all students to perform at their highest level in all subjects.
Honor Roll status is recognized in grades 4 through 8 at the end of each quarter. Students are recognized for performance at two levels: grades 6 through 8 – Principal's List, First Honors and Honors, and grades 4 and 5 – First Honors and Second Honors.
The criteria to achieve Honor Roll in each level is as follows:
Grades 6 – 8
PRINCIPAL’S LIST: Grade in every core subject and Spanish ranges from 94 – 100
All Conduct and Effort marks are 1 and 2
FIRST HONORS: Grade in every core subject and Spanish ranges from 90 – 100
All Conduct and Effort marks are 1 or 2
HONORS: Grade in every core subject and Spanish ranges from 82-100
All Conduct and Effort marks are 1 or 2
Grades 4 – 5
FIRST HONORS: Grade in every core subject is a minimum of an A-
All Conduct and Effort marks are 1 or 2
The core subjects are: Religion, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies. Honor Roll accomplishments will be celebrated and recognized with a Certificate. Please see the Parent Student Handbook for a complete outline of Honor Roll criteria.
